The trip so far....

..so whats Chop been doing?

Monday morning, set off at bout 10am GMT to Sarapore;) arrived around 7am their time on the Tues morning. Got luggage etc and set off to find a hostel, most booked up so settled for a cheapy hotel in the end. Hotel 81 on Bencoolen street. Dropped bags off and went round little India arcade which was pretty funky. Stopped for some local food, intestine noodles!!! odd but you know gotta try these things, dont think ill be having it again though to be fair. Some awesome mosques dotted around too. After that went down to the sea front near the little Merlion statue and the big theatre whose actual name escapes me at present!! Kipped for ages that night!!

Into Weds and went over to Sentosa Island where the massive Merlion statue is. Wandered round the forgotten cities and into underwater world, here i met some sea crabs which i kid you not were bigger than me!! Seriously Harry Potter makes so much more sense now with that fucking spider!! Went onto the beaches for spot of volleyball and saw the dolphin show. After went for the Dolphine interaction where i played with a pink dolphin which felt just like a giant sausage ;) Stood at the southern most point of continental asia which was nice and at the end saw a massive musical water fountain display. Anyone who has been to seaworld will know. Its quality. Left via cable car over the lit up shipping bay. Pretty phat.

Thurs, 2nd day in actual youth hostel, bit dirt with moldy eggs for brekky but S$30 for a room (about 8quid!! Went to the botanic gardens which are magnificent. Plants and fruits from the world over in a sprawling mass of peaceful park, j would have topped it off but to be fair didnt need it just watched the turtles play fighting instead. After walked down Orchard road saw loads of wolrd photography on display pretty moving some of the images. and further on all the xmas decor which is random as its all snowmen etc as you'd expect but in 80degree heat and higher its a bit odd. They have musical lamposts too to sing carols to with the words and everything!!

Friday, had a day to kill so just chilled around chinatown markets and went to airport early to wander around its fucking huge. All in all a good experience slightly sin city esq and the locals can be persistant and rude but you only need to go to stockport to find that so no proper complaints. Flew to Oz that night had bit of a kip and landed this morning. Found phat youth hostel www.BAKPAKHOTEL.com is where im sat now in melbourne as flights got changed without me even noticing!! ah well. Had a day of finding where things are, got a footy game on the roof 2moro...like you do should be fun will let ou all know how that goes if i dont fall off or something. Just sat in bar now gonna shoot some pool get pissed and sleep for ages.

p.s. Sina, that t-shirt slogan you mentioned at 5ways. theres a guy here with a fairly similar one!! Clearly doesnt give a shit but then again he is bigger than anyone ive ever met i think.
